Assistantships & Interviews

Interview Weekend is February 16-18, 2017

Interview Weekend is a formal program for admitted students hosted by the College Student Personnel Association, the College Student Personal program, and the Division of Student Life. During the weekend, students will interview for graduate assistantships, meet current students in the CSP program, learn about curriculum and faculty, discover practica opportunities, and much more. The program lasts Thursday through Saturday, with Friday’s schedule lasting a whole day. Admitted students will receive interview information following their acceptance notification.

Housing and parking accommodations will be provided to those invited to participate. Additionally, current CSP students will do their best to assist candidates with airport pick-ups and drop-offs.

University Housing Assistantships

CSP Candidates interested in interviewing for assistantships with University Housing must also complete an application with University Housing. Instructions for the application can be found here: http://housing.utk.edu/graduate-assistantships/. Interviews for housing assistantships will take place on Saturday, February 18th, 2017 from 8am-1pm. The University Housing application requires a cover letter, resumé and list of professional references. Deadline for full consideration is Friday, February 3rd, 2017.
