Biography
Meagan Booth is currently the Executive Principal of Dr. Paul L. Kelley Volunteer Academy in Knox County Schools. Meagan has worked as a mathematics teacher, numeracy coach, assistant principal and athletic director. Meagan previously served on the Mathematics Standards Review Committee, Mathematics Item Review Committee and the Professional Development Council with the TN Department of Education. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Gardner-Webb University, Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University, and an Educational Specialist degree as part of the Leadership Academy from the University of Tennessee. Meagan choose to pursue a Doctor of Education degree from UTK to broaden her knowledge of education and leadership to one day help mold the educational procedures and policies affecting our schools today.
