Biography
James Slay is currently an Assistant Principal at Green Magnet Academy in Knox County Schools. James has been a 5th Grade teacher. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from South College and a Master of Education degree in Educational Administration (Leadership Academy) from The University of Tennessee. James chose to pursue a Doctor of Education degree from UTK to extend his learning, collaborate with an amazing group of educators, and to make a positive impact in education by promoting diversity, equity, and a high quality education for every student.
