Biography

Alison Gauld is currently the Low Incidence and Autism Coordinator in the Special Populations Division of the Tennessee Department of Education. Alison taught special education for more than 20 years in Arizona and Colorado public schools prior to moving to Tennessee. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in special education and a Master of Education in educational leadership at Arizona State University. Alison choose to pursue a Doctor of Education degree from UTK to further her work educating and empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
