The President attends, oversees, and coordinates all activities of CSPA at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, including presiding over all Executive Council and general meetings. In coordination with other positions, the president focuses on professional development activities of CSPA including the Professional Mentor Program, conference information, and workshop series. The President facilitates departmental events presented by CSPA (i.e. Interview Weekend, graduate hooding ceremony, and CSP orientation).
The Vice President for Recruitment (VPR) co-coordinates CSP recruitment and Interview Weekend. The VPR coordinates student visits and communicates with accepted/incoming students in coordination with the President. The VPR also supports all CSPA programming.
The Vice President for Finance and Membership (VPFM) maintains the budget, collects dues, and updates membership records. Additionally, the VPFM provides information to all members of CSPA about funding for conferences through the Division of Student Life, the CSP program, Graduate School, and other sources. The VPFM also supports all CSPA programming.
The Vice President for Alumni & Public Relations (VPAPR) maintains and updates all CSPA communication including social media, website, and printed formats. The VPAPR communicates with alumni through various outlets. The VPAPR also supports all CSPA programming.
The Vice President of Undergraduate Relations (VPUR) serves as the advisor for the Aspiring Student Affairs Professionals (ASAP) student organization. Additionally, the VPUR coordinates efforts with the NASPA Undergraduate Fellows Program (NUFP), supports undergraduate student organization leaders interested in student affairs, and facilitates opportunities between CSPA and ASAP. The VPUR also supports all CSPA programming.
The Vice President for Community Development (VPCD) plans at least two social events per semester and coordinates the CSPal peer mentoring program. Additionally, the VPCD co-coordinates the graduate hooding ceremony and celebrations for the graduating cohort. The VPCD also supports all CSPA programming.
