The Educational Leadership Program Steering Committee (ELPSC)
ELPSC serves as an advisory committee to the Educational Administration and Supervision programs (M.S., Ed.S., and certificate) and faculty in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. Created in 2009, in response to the State of Tennessee’s redesign of all principal preparation programs, this group is comprised of representatives from the 22 school districts who have signed “Memorandum of Understanding” with The University of Tennessee. We aim, through this collaboration, to develop and maintain an effective principal preparation program that is responsive to the needs of the school districts we serve and prepared effective leaders for our schools.
